All recommendations from the Islamophobia Envoy’s report released last year need to be adopted, the Race Discrimination Commissioner says. TWO weeks ago, the Federal government finally delivered its response to the Islamophobia Envoy’s report tabled last September. The report made 54 recommendations but the Federal government will only implement 35 of them. NIRS’ Reporter Adam Evans spoke to Race Discrimination Commissioner Giridharan Sivaraman about the government’s response.
